Our approach

We build team effectiveness through our Collab-Ovation Labs — an Action Learning approach to development. Action Learning is based on the principles that adults learn best by doing and teams develop best by working together on something meaningful. Through our Collab-Ovation Labs approach we partner with clients to:

  • Engage team members in identifying and solving a real world business problem that’s important to the team
  • Use a problem solving methodology that fully defines the problem statement before moving to solution
  • Include periodic time outs from working on the problem to review the performance of the team, highlight strengths, identify opportunities for improvement, and then allow the team to re-engage in the problem solving and immediately apply the learning.
  • Incorporate the use of individual personality profiles (MBTI, DiSC, Birkman, Hogan, etc.) to help team members understand their personal interests, styles and needs and similarities and differences within the team
  • Supplement the group work activities with individual feedback and coaching to focus team members on their personal growth and development
